Crying in Front of William Shatner

I have no idea what happened. One minute I'm waiting in line with my son to have William Shatner sign something and the next, I'm crying. CRYING! Star Trek was a big deal when I was young. My father and I would watch every rerun together and go see every movie together. I guess seeing James T. Kirk in person just triggered a much bigger reaction than I thought it would. 

Of course my son was quick to point out that this is precisely why I should NEVER meet Richard Armitage in person. There is no telling what I might do to embarrass myself.
