So many of my novels feature characters grieving over the loss of someone or something. Homes, parents, sisters, and friends are all some of the things my characters have lost. It's a lot easier to write about loss than live through it, but I have found that reading about others who have lost people or things in their lives helps me to not feel so alone.
There are so many books about loss, but We Were Beautiful was just featured in a list of books that may ease the pain and loneliness of loss.
