Back in Texas

I've moved a lot in my life. Michigan, New York, Nevada, California, Maine, and Texas so far. And I love to travel. I've been all over the United States and Canada and even had the amazing opportunity to visit England, Belgium, and France last year. But I always yearn for the place I just was. It's a terrible habit I have. Once I leave someplace, I can see all of the awesome things that I overlooked. Of course right now it's really bad. It's autumn in Maine -- turning leaves and apples and crisp mornings made for hot coffee and fleece coats. And I'm feeling stuck inside in the humidity and heat of Texas. I'm learning to enjoy the now, but I still feel wistful sometimes -- like I'm yearning for home.
